“Childhood under the orange tree” is the latest publication of the SWM Youth for the World, which contains the stories of children from Bolivia, Ghana, Malawi and Tanzania. The authors of the stories are young people of both continents, and the editors volunteers, staying out on missions. The publication aims to bring the Polish children, how the lives of their peers in the other hemisphere. The project carried out under the Polish Aid Volunteering Programme.
This publication is available for schools, educational establishments and organizations with educational profile. The book is accompanied by handouts to teach the non-formal education. Teaching is another proposal, which can be ordered by contacting the headquarters stworzyszenia:

10th December decades celebrating International Human Rights Day, because this is the anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and adopted the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. “But the commitment is not abstract enough. We have to face inequality and intolerance – wherever and whenever we find them “- so we read in the message of UN Secretary-General on the 10th day December 2009. “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights” 10 December is International Day of Human Rights protection. Dec. 5 celebrating the International Day of Volunteers. In Poland the feast is nearly 7 million Poles who volunteer their time, skills and work for social activities. Especially in this day Salesian Missionary Voluntary Service – Youth for the World would like to thank the hands of volunteers for each time it spent on the mission. Don Bosco Boys Town in Nairobi this year celebrated 25 years of its activity. This anniversary was celebrated on November 14 Mass. and great feta, which was attended by approximately 2,500 people. There were many expressions of respect and recognition, including from representatives of the civil authorities, and in thanksgiving for the work that the center Salesian implements from 25 years to the poor and abandoned children and youth from Nairobi.
